Doug Holmes is a writer. Mainly he writes about ‘eGovernment’*,
and is the author of the book eGov:
e-Business Strategies for Government. He also consults
and writes for high-tech companies such as Microsoft.
In a previous life, Doug Holmes was a prolific journalist
in the Canadian North, where he wrote the book Northerners:
Profiles of People in the Northwest Territories.
Holmes lived in Yellowknife for a long time, and Inuvik
for a short time. He has since lived in London and Paris
for a long time, and Bucharest and Hong Kong for a short
time. He currently lives in the mountainous interior
of British Columbia. He’d like to become a recluse
but has lots of frequent flyer miles to use up first.
* eGovernment is the use
of Internet technology to deliver better public services
and change the way government operates.
